What types of birds do you train?

What training methods do you use?

We use exclusively positive reinforcement and reward-based training. Our approach focuses on building trust, reducing stress, and encouraging natural learning behaviours so your bird feels confident and willing to participate in training.

Can you come to my home for training?

Yes, all training sessions are carried out at your home or bird’s current environment. This allows us to work directly with your bird’s natural routine and surroundings, making training more effective and relevant to real-life situations.

Do you offer remote consultations?

Yes, we offer remote consultations for behavioural advice, early guidance, and follow-up support. These are ideal for discussing issues such as handling, recall, enrichment, or general welfare before or between in-person sessions.

Which areas do you cover?

We are based in Essex and offer in-person bird training within a reasonable travel radius. Remote consultations are available nationwide, allowing support wherever you are located in the UK.

Can you help with vet or handling training?

Yes, we specialise in cooperative handling training to help birds become calmer and more confident during routine care such as weighing, transport, and veterinary visits. This is particularly useful for both parrots and birds of prey that may be nervous or unaccustomed to handling.

Do you work with professional bird keepers or facilities?

Yes, we also provide tailored training and behavioural support for professional settings such as bird displays, falconry setups, and wildlife facilities. This includes husbandry training, enrichment planning, and handling guidance for staff.
